Edward Jones - Canadian Artist
From the early age of 8 years, Edward had developed a keen interest in fine art after posing to have a portrait painted by a talented family friend.
Edward was born in Windsor, Ontario and had developed a keen interest in fine art after posing for a portrait painted by a talented artist who was a family friend.
She would save the left over tubes of paint and old worn brushes and give them to Edward and at the age of eight would spend his time trying to paint on the side of cardboard boxes.
With time and effort he became better and realized his passion for fine art was what he enjoyed the most.
He attended vocational art high school at Georges Vanier in North York and evolved into graphic design as a career.
Shortly after high school, Edward (Ted) was commissioned to illustrate album covers for a new up coming rock/pop group called Klaatu.

This challenge produced an undefinable bridge between fine art and illustration and resulted in an new style of art which was a cross between Science fiction, and surrealism as denoted in "The Unknown Lands" segment of this site.

Edward remains dedicated to find the sweet spot to the public demand for his artwork and remains diverse in his style offered, so feel free to revisit this site to see where this evolution goes.
